Why Go Team Duncan?
Go Team Duncan exists for several reasons. Brandi and I wanted to journal our family, first and foremost; but we learned rather quickly that sharing our experiences and the things we’ve learned along the way helps others. It also keeps us more accountable as a family, as parents, and as two people in a relationship.
When we document our activity, we want you to see that we all deal with similar struggles and go through the same types of things. Some are going to be hysterical, some gut-wrenching, some may even leave you scratching your head, thinking “what the… did that really just happen?”
Best of all? You won’t find any ridiculous stereotypes here. You don’t have to have kids or a spouse to be in a family. You don’t need to be married to raise a child. You don’t have to be a man to use a power tool, and you don’t have to be a woman to make a craft. We do things as a team here; using each others strengths, and reinforcing our weaknesses.
So join us, The Duncans, as we compete in the game of life. We don’t always win or lose, but damn it, the game is not going to play us.

Short-term goals: Organizing my craft room (just in time to move…sigh), get over my fear of power tools, open mine and Caylin’s Etsy shop, move then move again (twice within a year)
Long-term goals: Get settled into our ‘forever’ home after B retires, take a Disney Cruise, spoil our future ‘granbabies’, open our ‘dream store’ with Brandon and the girls, and of course live happily ever after
